Muslim Civic Coalition Congratulates Arab-American Business & Professional Association on Successful Second “Little Palestine” Sign Unveiling

Bridgeview, IL – April 25, 2026 –- The Muslim Civic Coalition proudly congratulates the Arab-American Business & Professional Association on the highly successful Grand Unveiling of the second “Welcome to Little Palestine” sign at Westfield Plaza on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

The event united more than 16 partner organizations in a vibrant celebration of Palestinian culture and community pride. The Coalition commends the Arab-American Business & Professional Association for their exceptional leadership in bringing together this strong coalition of supporters.

Among the many organizations that sponsored and supported the event were:

Illinois Muslim Chamber of Commerce, MedGlobal, Refugee Life Foundation, Palestinian American Athletic Association, Arab America Foundation, Muslim Civic Coalition, Al-Nahda Center, Friends of Nablus, Al-Aqsa School, and many others.

Congressman Chuy García and Illinois State Senator Karina Villa were among the elected officials who attended and spoke at the celebration. A traditional Dabke troop performed, Habiba Sweets offered delicious desserts, and attendees enjoyed light refreshments while socializing and building stronger community and business connections.

The second unveiling at Westfield Plaza (8914 Odell Ave, Bridgeview, IL) represents another milestone in the Little Palestine signage project. A third unveiling is planned for summer 2026.

The Muslim Civic Coalition celebrates this wonderful achievement and extends heartfelt congratulations to the Arab-American Business & Professional Association and all partnering organizations for their dedication to highlighting Arab and Palestinian heritage in the Chicago area.
