1. Build Bridges across sectors and communities

2. Amplify social, civic, and business impact of American Muslims

3. Collaborate more deeply on advocacy, service, business, and government

What is Initiative: Engage & Impact?

The Coalition plans engagement with organizations and leaders nationwide. We will:

• visit community organizations working for civic and social equity

• break bread with dozens of activists and influencers

• engage with businesses, residents and voters

• discuss key issues, share our work, and identify ways to collaborate

The Coalition conducts over 50 Briefings with public officials each year.

Engage and Impact Tours have engaged the ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), City Clerk Anna Valencia, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, Gery Chico, Mayor Lori Lightfoot, several Congresspeople and others. 

Engage and Impact Tours have amplified the work of Suzy’s Place, Hamdard Center, Apna Ghar, Muslim Community Center (MCC), American Islamic College (AIC), Khalil Center, Downtown Islamic Center (DIC), Muslim Women’s Alliance (MWA), American Muslim Healthcare Professionals (AMHP), Nigerian Islamic Association, Inner-City Muslim Action network (IMAN), and many more businesses and social/civic influencers and organizations.
