Zainab is the Advocacy and Policy Fellow (or the Wadee AlFayoumi Fellow) for the Muslim Civic Coalition.

With an academic background in political science and international relations, she brings experience in comparative politics and human rights advocacy. In her role at the Coalition, Zainab supports legislative drafting efforts, co-leads the Coalition’s Disinformation Task Force, and collaborates with partner organizations whose missions align with our values.

Zainab is deeply committed to uplifting all communities, with a particular focus on empowering Muslim voices. Having spent much of her life in the Arab world, she brings a global perspective to her work. Her goal is not only to become a strong advocate for Muslims worldwide, but also to represent her community as individuals who are courageous, engaged, and dedicated to creating meaningful change for generations to come.
