Reema Kamran serves as the co-founder and Board Treasurer at the Muslim Civic Coalition.
As part of the leadership team, Reema works towards the Coalition’s mission to convene, collaborate and amplify civic and social services towards achieving Equity and Civic Justice. Reema is an entrepreneur and community organizer who co-founded R & R strategists in 2008, a consulting company with the goal to empower community non-profit organizations. Through her years of experience as a convener, Reema has gained expertise and insight to contribute towards organizational methodology, fundraising strategy, and donor management skills, harnessing volunteer energy and branding strategy discussions. Her passion is collaboration and synergizing community organizations, networks, and resources towards impact - whether it is formulating a cohesive effort in a crisis or grassroots organizing towards a collective action/goal. Reema holds a degree in Marketing and Economics from Elmhurst College and began her career as a government auditor and consultant. Reema resides in Elmhurst, IL with her beloved husband and 4 boys.
