Kinza Khan serves as Advocacy & Policy Consultant at the Muslim Civic Coalition.

Kinza Khan is an attorney, educator, and advocate dedicated to promoting human rights, gender equity, and access to justice. With over a decade of experience, Kinza has led efforts to provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed legal care for survivors of domestic violence, divorce, human rights violations, and civil rights violations, particularly within South Asian and Muslim communities.

She serves as Vice President of the Muslim Bar Association of Chicago and is an adjunct professor at DePaul University College of Law, where she integrates her passion for education with her legal expertise. Kinza has also contributed to international human rights efforts, including observing committee hearings at the United Nations in Geneva and serving as a moot court judge in Pakistan.

Kinza earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, specializing in international human rights law, and holds a Bachelor of Science in International Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she created a custom concentration in international human rights law. She has been licensed to practice law in Illinois since 2014.

In addition to her legal work, Kinza is a published photographer, capturing stories of resilience and justice.
