Adam Kattom serves as a Next Gen Board Member of the Muslim Civic Coalition.
Adam Kattom is a dynamic political organizer based in Peoria, Illinois, and a junior at Dunlap High School. At just 16 years old, he made history as the youngest campaign manager in the nation after leading a city council campaign, demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational skill well beyond his years.
Adam serves as the chair of three political advocacy committees and as Chair of the Voter Engagement Committee for the Peoria chapter of the ACLU, where he leads efforts to increase civic participation across the region. He has worked on four political campaigns and is the founder of a campaign consulting business that provides strategic guidance, voter outreach, and organizational support to candidates and community initiatives.
Beyond politics, Adam is deeply committed to youth empowerment and entrepreneurship. He actively mentors high school students across Central Illinois, helping them launch small businesses and nonprofit organizations. He also works closely with mosques throughout Illinois, partnering with community leaders to expand civic engagement, voter education, and advocacy efforts within Muslim communities.
Through his work, Adam has built strong relationships with elected officials across Illinois and is recognized as a trusted and influential voice in local and state politics. He continues to break barriers and set new standards for youth leadership, public service, and community advocacy.
